The contractor will also install air source heat pumps as part of the campus’s renewable energy systems.

The campus forms part of wider regeneration plans for Ardrossan, which include the redevelopment of a brownfield site to the north of the town’s harbour.
The all-through education facility will serve pupils aged between two and 18 and will combine education provision with facilities for the wider community.
Alongside classrooms and learning spaces, the development will include a library, learning hub and indoor sports facilities, including a swimming pool, sports hall, gymnasium, dance studio and fitness studio.
Outdoor provision will include two sports pitches, a multi-use games area, outdoor learning areas, recreational spaces and growing areas, as well as associated parking and infrastructure.
