NFB Membership Services team undertook a productive visit to Lindum Group in October, gaining firsthand insight into the scale, quality, and diversity of the company’s operations.

Hosted by Company Secretary, Herman Kok and Director, Rob Wright at Lindum’s Head Office in Lincoln, NFB Head of Membership, Sean Houlston, Membership Manager, Lee Burke and Membership Administrator, Hannah Busby spent the day with the Lindum team. 

The day started with a look back at the history of the Lindum Group whilst learning about their culture and operational delivery which makes Lindum Group a truly unique regional contractor and house builder.

A guided tour of the Lindum Business Park, including the Joinery Workshop, where the team showcased its exceptional heritage restoration capabilities. Highlights included demonstrations of traditional craftsmanship such as bespoke window frame restoration. The group also visited the Lindum Plant Department, gaining an appreciation of the technical expertise and robust infrastructure supporting Lindum’s construction and maintenance activities.

A visit to Lincoln Western Growth Corridor housing development followed, where Phil Dudding, Managing Director of construction from the Lindum team provided project updates and discussed both current challenges and emerging opportunities within the sector.

Speaking after the visit, Sean Houlston, Head of Membership at the National Federation of BuildersServices expressed his appreciation for Lindum’s hospitality.

The visit reinforced the strong relationship between the organisations and highlighted key areas for continued collaboration across construction, skills, and responsible business delivery.
